Introductions
The IMS Internal Auditor's Course meets the required knolwedge and skills for internal auditors within an organization to fully understand the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 to facilitate internal audits planning, performance and reporting.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, the participants will be able to:
- understand the fundamentals of International Organization of Standards (ISO), Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2004) and Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS 18001:2007) and Integrated Management System (IMS).
- examine and/or discuss the audit requirements of IMS;
- acquire knowledge and skills about internal audit, its planning, implementation, documentation and reporting;
- formulate an internal audit plan and audit report.

INTRODUCTION TO IMS:

INTERNAL AUDITING:
- Purposes and types of auditing
- Definition of auditing terms
- Process-based Auditing
- Characteristics, behaviors and skills of Internal Auditor
- Phases of Internal Audit:
- Audit Preparation : Assigning Auditors, Developing audit Plan, Gathering working Documents, Preapring Checklist
- Audit Performance: Opening Meeting, Assessing conformance/nonconformance, Dcoumenting nonconformities and observations, Discussing results with audit team, Closing Meeting
- Audit Reporting and Follow-up: Audit Report preparation, Determining corrective actions, Monitoring corrective actions
A written examination shall be given after the course. Certificate fo Attendance shall be issued.
