Introductions
This course will help the participants to understand the backgorund and basic concepts Environmental Management System (EMS) with reference to ISO 14001:2004 standard. ISO 14001:2004 provides practical tools for organizations to identify and control their environmental impact and continually improve their environmental performance; and identify legal legislations of EMS.
Course Objectives
At the end of the training, the participants will be able to:
- Gain awareness on the overview/backgorund of ISO 14001:2004 and its requirements.
- Define Environmental Management System terminologies.
- Utilize ISO 14001:2004 as a tool for cotrolling environmental aspects and impacts, and managing environmental emergencies in the workplace.
- Identify clauses/reuirements for the P-D-C-A Approach.

A written examination shall be given after the training to assess the understanding/level of awareness of the participants on EMS. Certificate of Attendance shall be issied.
