Introductions
The HSE awareness training aims to help participants to increase their level of knowledge to internationally recognized HSE standards.This course will help them understand the background and basic concepts Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems with reference to ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 provide practical tools for organizations to identify and control their occupational hazards and risks and environmental impact and impacts and continually improve their environmental performance; and identify legal legislations of HSE.
Course Objectives
At the end of the training, the participants will be able to:
- Gain awareness on the overview/background of ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 and its requirements
- Define EMS and OHSAS terminologies
- Utilize ISO 14001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 as a tool in controlling environmental aspects/impacts and occupational hazards/risks.
- Identify clauses/requirements for the P-D-C-A Approach
- Identify documentation requirements for ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007

A written examination shall be given to participants after the training. Certificate of Attendance shall be isssued.
