Introductions
With the OHSAS 18001:2007 Awareness Training, the participants will be familiarized with the fundamental topics of Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems and the OHSAS 18001:2007 Standard. Also, participants will be able to have a reasonable understanding on the importance of risk management and emergency preparedness as part of OHSAS 18001 requirements to to protect employee's health and safety in the workplace; and legal legislations related to Occupatonal Health and Safety.
Course Objectives
At the end of the training, the participants will be able to:
- Gain awareness on the overview/backgound of OHSAS 18001:2007 standard and its requirements.
- Define Occupational Health and Safety Management terminologies.
- Utilize OHSAS 18001:2007 as a tool for protecting the health and safety of employees at the workplace.
- Identify OHSAS clauses/requirements for the P-D-C-A Approach.

A written examination shall be given at the end of the training to assess understanding/level of awareness of participants on OHSAS 18001:2007. Certificate of Attendance shall be issued to the participant.
