BAS Launches ISO 9126 -Software Quality Model


ISO 9126 is an international standard for the evaluation of software. The standard is divided into four parts which addresses, respectively, the following subjects: quality model; external metrics; internal metrics; and quality in use metrics. ISO 9126 Part one, referred to as ISO 9126-1 is an extension of previous work done by McCall (1977), Boehm (1978), FURPS and others in defining a set of software quality characteristics.  


BAS Launches ISO 38500-Corporate IT Governance


ISO 38500 is the International Standard for Corporate Governance of Information Technology. ISO/IEC 38500 draws upon a number of sources, chief of which is AS 8015:2005, which defines the six principles: Establish responsibilities,Plan to best support the organisation Acquire validly Ensure performance when required Ensure conformance with rules Ensure respect for human factors.


BAS Launches ISO 15504


The ISO/IEC 15504 standard, also known as SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination), is a regulation for overall improvement and evaluation of an organization´s software development and maintenance processes.
